If you’re looking for a good online home based business that pays well, then I would suggest you look for a number of things when deciding which business to go for:
1 – Stay away from mass market products. For example, health products, weight loss etc. you will be a very small voice in a large market. Look for products that cannot easily be duplicated, such as education systems or other services where training/information is sold.
2 – Look for products that have good healthy profit margins and multiple streams of income. Network Marketing often provides a residual income from distributors in your team. Put together with your own self-generated income this can all add up. You should also ensure that your team, when you build it, are able to earn too, otherwise they won’t stick around for long.
3 – Identify a complete marketing system that is proven. There are a lot of them out there that make all sorts of claims about getting big results for virtually zero effort. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Whilst you can make a lot of money and more quickly than more traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ business models, there is still a LOT of effort involved in building up a head of steam. My advice here: never give up!
4 – Make sure your sponsor has an interest in your personal success. Can you speak to them? If they’re not willing to help out before you sign up, what do you think they’re going to be like afterwards?

All businesses in my opinion should have a web site where people can go to and be able to purchase things on line.

In my personal opinion the best home based business out there is in telecommunications. I feel this way because the product and service is in high demand, has and always will be. I think this industry is the best because the people involved help people save money on things that they are already using and paying for. Things such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet services, digital and video phone services, Satellite TV as well as all major cellular phone providers. They help people save money on services that they are already using and paying for, put people on new services that they don’t already have but want. They also upgrade and extend cellular phone contracts and put people onto new contracts through all the major cellular phone providers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc. They make percentages off everyone’s billings each time people pay their bills. So from what I’ve seen, to me this one would be the best type of home based business to do.
